welcome TO Year 6

Meet the Year Six Team:

Mrs Forrest (Class Teacher)

Mr Prior (LSA)

War has struck again with the children finding themselves at the very heart of what it means to live life as a child during World War Two. Children will learn how to protect themselves during a Luftwaffe bombing raid, the role of propaganda in the war and what the Blitz meant for people living in cities alongside what life was like for an evacuee.

MONTHLY Highlight

This week in Year 6, we have been learning about executive skills and creating pen portraits. These activities have helped us reflect on how we think, plan and achieve our goals. It’s been a brilliant opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better and to make sure that every child is heard and valued.
